Meet the Founder

I’m Spencer Humpherys, the founder of Hockey Stick Media. I started this agency to help small businesses grow fast and smart—just like the "hockey stick" growth curve we’re named after.

I earned my Business Management degree from BYU-Idaho, where I also ran a few small businesses of my own, including a custom hat printing company and a personal training service. That hands-on experience taught me what it really takes to build something from the ground up.

I'm certified in Google and Facebook advertising, and I've worked professionally in sales and recruiting—skills that now help me craft digital strategies that bring in real results. Whether it's running targeted ads, improving SEO, designing websites, or building a strong social media presence, I focus on what works for your business.

I live in Moses Lake, WA, with my amazing wife Alice and our dog Loki. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me coaching wrestling or spending time with my family.
